There are almost 100 people looking at the dog section, but hardly any posting.

Good question, i can only answer for myself....

I sometimes post but, i always choose the less contraversial posts or the posts where i am confident in my answer. It is easier to let the more experienced reply. Often these things get quite heated. I learnt the hard way on another forum!

I spend many an evening sitting here thinking, come on, someone say it.......

    ;)

I try and do that, it might mean a lot to the person who started the thread.
I also try to start my own threads to try and keep things interesting

Yes, but why aren't they members?
There are also members that hardly ever post but are often online, it's those that I would like to answer this question.
All of you are quite active members :)

    Hiya,
Even if you haven't experience, there must be threads that you could contribute too (like this one :))
Or start threads of your own :)
    Are we that scary?:D

I'm still new but I do read through a lot of threads and sometimes think i should post something but then think that my contribution isn't really worth much so stay quiet.

Also wouldn't want to say something that might upset long standing members as I know some forums can get quite clicky and noses get put out of joint if you dare to contradict another more popular members.

Even though no one knows me or who anyone else is, I still feel quite shy. :eek:ut:

ETA: Shall we try an oath?

I do hear by swear to try and add more posts of a constructive and fun manner from here on in as best I can.

    Anyone else..................

Get posting, I for one think that we can all learn from other people experiences, and if you don't have that I'm sure your opinion is as valid as anyone else.
We have been trying hard over the last few months to try and encourage new members to post.
Several threads have been opened to try and do just that, with varied success
I try to put a few threads on that are easy to contribute to ( non controversial) you could do the same :D
