I currently use clumping. But I find whichever one I use it sticks to the bottom of the tray. I fill it deep but still the same problem. Was thinking of changing to non clumping x
I can’t imagine going back to non clumping. Clumping is so much easier imo, but I know some people like wood pellets. If it sticks to the bottom that would imply not enough in the tray, but Kito is a digger - he will scrape away until he gets to plastic. If there is anything left on the surface of the tray (it doesn’t stick) I just wipe it with a paper towel sprayed with litter tray cleaner.

We use cats best original clumping and it’s amazing. It’s made from wood fibres. I never have to fully change the litter tray (although do wash it out regularly) just scoop the wet balls.
We started off using Catsan (non clumping) as that’s what we had used a long time ago when we had an older cat but I was having to change the whole litter tray every other day and if I didn’t the wet litter at the bottom stuck to the tray.
Definitely clumping, I use Maisey corn litter, clumps really well, is biodegradable and keeps the smell down. You can even flush it down the loo if you want
Another vote for clumping. I find if I scoop the wee too soon after they have been, it can stick but if you leave it a while it’s no issue, I use super benek corn litter and it never sticks to the bottom of the tray
I too couldn't go back to using non clumping litter for several reasons.
I mostly buy Corn Cat which is economical but does track a bit. I much prefer Golden Grey/Golden white, very deeply filled (a whole large bag) in a large, hooded tray. I find there's virtually no smell, the pee never reaches the bottom and it's extremely economical. The only reason I don't use it in all of my trays (I'm a breeder) is that it's heavy to dispose of.
