not eating?!

My labradoodle puppy is 10 months old, she's never been driven by food, but always finished her plate. She is quite a fluffy labradoodle and had a lot of hair
But recently she had just not wanted any food, walks away, isn't interested…we've even given her home cooked doggy meals!
We took her to the vet and they didn't really say much, said maybe it's the heat..so we got her shaved. But still she wasn't eating and the vet told us to monitor it.
Has anyone experienced this with their dogs?!
I'm worried about my puppy!

Alright thank you.
We had her on Wainwrites, changed it James Wellbeloved, allowed settling in time, then home cooked meals.
Every now and then she'll eat one or two mouthfuls, but surely that can't be enough!
Started about three weeks/four weeks ago. Progressively got worse.
She'll eat some, but gets bored after a while..

Has she been spayed or could she be coming up to a season?
This is a good question.

I would go to another vet, get a second opinion and go from there.

Hope you get sorted, they do like to worry us dont they

Phantom pregnancy?
Just about to suggest that.

I have no experience of it so just ignore me if I'm way off, but if her season was two months ago, this would be about the time she'd be due puppies, no? (60-odd days)
Symptoms can include changes in behaviour, depression and loss/lack of appetite I believe, among others.
Yeah that is what the Vet suggested…
I'll keep an eye on it

I am surprised the vet did not check inside her mouth if she is not eating I would go see another vet and ask them to do just that

Hera acted like this for 6 weeks prior to her first season. She would eat a little, get bored and then walk away. I did try tempting her with odd bits and bobs but stopped as I figured she would end up a fussy eater. So we emplyed the tough love approach of food down for 15 mins then picked up.
This got her to eat a little more but it turned out that she didnt like the wet food after it had been inthe fridge (even tried warming up). So now we keep open tins in a cool (not cold) store in kitchen. This isnt too much of a problem as they share a tin a day.

Definatly get teeth and mouth checked, if that all clear I'd say phantom pregnacy - is she gathering certain toys and protecting them?
