      @VeeVee I do have some links for both sides of the opinion on coconut oil and cats. I'll gather them up for you but it may take a little while.

        Thanks. I found lots too. Ps I only give them a tiny amount on my finger and not daily. There is so much conflicting information on everything from everyone....It was on my search for toothpaste and soothing Alfie's gingivitis that I came across coconut oil.

        In my opinion a tiny amount (pea sized or less) occasionally would not be a cause for concern. I use it for my one girl who is prone to feline acne, it clears up her chin in two days when she has a flare up. I have also used it when my girl with digestive issues shows signs of feeling urpy. A tiny bit melted on my finger for her to lick off does seem to settle her stomach.

        But I think people are better off knowing the dangers first, before going crazy with it.

        (to clarify, for the feline acne I rub the coconut oil into her chin but she does a lot of licking afterwards, all the cats love it)
