more than welcome. I always find it interesting how dog lovers do quiet when animal testing ( even the non medical) gets mentioned, imagine if anyone suggested 'pound staffies' should be used, I bet that would cause uproar. ( inappropriate as untraceable histories)

im gutted :( I just posted in the health and food section on here as his breeder is asking about food. The matching factors in these seiziures are its after a day he has run about in the sun, its at 4.30, I changes him onto Salmon and Potato food Wainrights....and he is on painkiller for a paw issue. The thing is, I think he had a small seizure 5 weeks ago but i thought he had pood the bed.... but now im thinking it was a seizure, as it was the same time.... he NEVER poos in the crate..... and the poo was in the same place it is after he has had these 2 seizures..... but if thats the case, it was not warm weather, the food was not this salmon..and he was not on any meds :(...... sorry to waffle on to you :(..... I just dont want to be filling him full of meds if it could be something else. :(

looks like I spoke too soon :( he had another seizure at 4.30 this morning.... noted it in his booklet and will see what happens...... I'm sure its heat related, so I need to see if he has one on a cool day. I looked at heat related seizures but I just find heat stroke info and he isnt suffering that I dont think..... as he doesnt have a seizure after being out... its always early morning..... worried sick again :(

Hi there :) thanks for asking after him. He is ok..... same as always, but I feel I cannot relax :( always watching him, dont want to leave him alone.... worried ect. I need to just chill and if it happens again deal with it then rather than worrying about what if. I have been walking him by water since last week so he can swim and not overheat, just in case thats what caused it. He LOOOOOOVES to swim :D x

Aww, thank you for the rep :) I can totally sympathise with having a dog with recall "issues" of any sort as Alfie can be such a little bugger (must be something in the name ;)), keep your chin up :) x

We could also mention the BUAV pledge they can sign up to go cruelty free on beauty/personal care and household items.
Currently cosmetic products that have been tested on animals outside the EU can be sold in the EU. This was due to stop in 2013 some of the large cosmetic companies are pushing for this deadline to be extended a further 10 years. :(
