Oh well done! Sounds like you are really making some progress. Yes have done most of the things to desensitise them to the cues of going out but still she knows, just nothing seems to work for our little monster. Have been doing the pretent going out thing since November with no real improvement. Can't really have another crate because we just don't have the room for a larger one, I'd have to get rid of the dining table or other piece of furniture lol. I have just ordered a book that was recommended called I'll be home soon by Patricia McConnell so will let you know if that sheds any different perspective on the problem. Have had to book her into kennels for a couple of hours on Good Friday so we can go out to lunch with the family. How ridiculous is that but I couldn't relax knowing she is in the house barking her head off!

Hi, hope you have some success with it I know a lot of folk swear by crate training. However our little horror wouldn't suffer the crate at all for any length of time, she would go in to eat her food and for treats and a five minute rest but that was it. We haven't had any improvement in the separation anxiety but she is a lot calmer in herself since we introduced the halti collar and give her two walks a day instead of one.
I've just ordered some Serene-um which also has similar effects to the mothers milk. Let me know how you get on with Zyllkene and of any improvement with Harvey.
