Your poem was beautiful. Thank you. I am thinking about you too, and hoping you are finding some peace. ...

So sorry to hear about your Charlie. I'll pray you can find some peace. Thank you for your kind words and reaching out to me when you yourself are in such pain. This forum is a life line for me right now and I am so grateful to have found all of you. Please take care of yourself and know I am thinking of you too...

      Thank you! :)

He just tends to get a bit gunky and smelly around there otherwise! :o I don't take a lot of fur off, just the bit in front of it on his belly! I do the same with the Bernese too.

It's alright to have ideas, it shows creative minds. Just don't allow him to create havoc in your life. ;)

Oscar's a Dinosaur. He's all body and very little brain.:D

Hi, we are near Camberley lots and lots of miltary land and country parks to explore :)
    9. Booties
Great! I may have to charge £900 for postage though ;)
Unless of course you want to make a fair trade...? :D

Thanks for the rep, very kind of you. :-)

Awwww thank you!!! I must admit its my favourite picture of the two of them together. I did actually consider writing a book about them for my nephews for Christmas, as they adore them......but I never got around to it.

      Maybe one day :)

Most vets do unfortunately - nutrition is one topic me and my vet just don't discuss anymore, he knows he'll never get me to feed Hills, and I know I'll never persuade him how good raw is, so we've just agreed to disagreed! :D

Just noticed your Leo is called Ozzy - my big Newfie bear is an Ozzy too!

Have you seen the Dry and Wet Food Indexes in the H&N section? They might help a little if you're still wondering about commercial , or if you have any raw Qs please feel free to give me a shout!
    13. SixStar
Hiya - he is raw fed! :)

He's a real beauty :) I love Leonbergers, I always get excited about seeing them at Discover Dogs! Hopefully not too many end up in rescue? I guess some folk get them because of how stunning they are and don't realise how big they will become...? I will check out your album for sure!

Just wanted to say that your signature picture is gorgeous - is that a Leonberger? Whatever breed of dog that is, it is stunning!
    18. Malmum
Pics posted on that thread for you. Who will you choose? lol! :-)

Thank you for the picture comment, sadly apart from Daisy whos nearly 15 in the background I have lost the other 3, they were my original 4. The others I have now are in my album on there.

Some years ago a a bright spark thought it might be a good idea to cross the Leonberger with the CO as well as the Sarplaninac just to try and tame the beast within those two specific guardian breeds. The results weren't so much the rug slug they had envisaged. The animal matured somewhat like a lucky bag. ;)
We are aware that there are folks in England with CO's but aren't sure if the resident breeders tried the same adventurous stunt. They never responded to our Emails.
The photo you have of him in the back of the car gives the stark facial impression he might have some CO in him. He looks very much like a Dog we had character tested not so long ago.
Comical really, not the Dog his owner hoped he'd be. He was more a Caucasian for an occasion. But never the right ocassion. A really lovely and gentle animal.

"The human body is born plain, naked and soaked in blood. As time goes on and the soul trapped in the body grows, self expression and personality develop. But the outside remains plain and thus comes into the picture tattoos, piercings, scarification, branding and other forms of body modification. It is your shell, let it reflect your soul."
