      Hi there,

I see from a thread on Gencon (started by Yellow Lab) that you use/have used one. Do you still use it and what do you think? We have a rottie mix male that is amazing on the lead 99% of the time but will lunge when prey drive kicks in (cats, some small dogs) or if he chooses to react to aggressive dogs. I think we may have similar problems!

      Hi,

I'm sorry I haven't replied. I haven't been on here for a while for one reason or another. Anyway, I read the first few pages and then got bored with people going off subject, so have replied and hope that's ok.

I swear by Gencon and wouldn't be without it.

You have to carry on doing what works best for you and Dex and.

Hiya, sorry to bother you, am I right in thinking you use/used a Gencon?

If yes, just wondered if you had seen the thread I started on this, as it seems to be developing into an all out PF war LOL.

Here's the link, if you're interested - I've really love to know what a fellow Gencon user thinks:

Hi, just wondered how you were feeling today? Did you hear if the other dog is ok?
I hope you're feeling calmer xx

I'd be the same as you; the old gent sounds as if he'd be upfront about reporting and I doubt he will - especially with your assurances that you'll take measures to ensure it never happens again. Maybe talk to your agility trainer? If the terrier isn't running at the same time as Roxy it would probably be OK? Do you think it was a prey drive thing today? Hard though - I'm with you on not taking any chances at all, especially given Roxy's size (not being breedist, just been she's big and powerful). Hard to have big dogs sometimes.

Wow she is beautiful, We got Diesel at 8 months. We had no problems with diesel from day one. At his previous owner house when I went to get him, He was jumping all over the furniture. I said then he wouldn't be doing that at my house and he didn't . Mind you we had Jessie at the time, she was in charge also a rottie. Max we got at about 12weeks already had 2 homes at that age. Now Max is an handful. If anyone got near me out walking, Max would tell them to get back..With Max we have to be very careful. Diesel is 6 and Max is 4 I love rotties
