Wonderful, she will be going to great home then. Let me know what OH says and we can sort out getting her to you. Thank you for all of your help, feels a real relief to know she will be getting the specialist care that she need.s xx

She hasn't properly eaten for 5-7 months. She eats the odd one or two, nothing very regular, every few weeks. She seems healthy enough, but I feel as though she is surviving and not thriving. Not sure where I am going wrong! xx

Oh that's wonderful, I am so worried about her, and am very upset to let her go, but I just need to know that she is getting the right care. She is approximately 7 years (based on the petstore age). She has a heat mat and is in a warm room. I feed her crickets - 3rd or 4th. Whereabouts are you? I can send her via courier, or maybe deliver her. She will come with her tank if you need it. xxx

Aww I am sorry to hear that? I am stuggling with my girlie to be honest. I am struggling to get her to feed and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong - feel a little out of my depth! I was hoping to find her a more experianced home. She is a Chilean, never handled, but not particularly aggressive. I just want her to be looked after properly with the specialist care she needs. You are more than welcome to have her if you'd like her. xxxx

In answer to your question posted (YouTube) Sarplaninacs 'Let's play chase'
Zara and Oscar have food available to them all day and the quantities are monitored. (Zara 250-300g/Oscar 450g)
Normally a mix of Royal Canin/Brit Care(Prevention by Nutrition) Lamb and Rice with Rape seed oil. They snack throughout the day on these.
Monitoring intake is easy, Zara and Oscar are not thieves and won't steal from each others bowls.

Evening meal. Oscar will usually eat 2-3 very generous Chicken/Turkey legs (depending what the Butcher has available) and 250grams of minced beef.
Zara will eat one Chicken/Turkey leg and 250 grams of minced beef.
Chicken/Turkey is alternated throughout the week with Pork/Beef/Lamb and Salmon.
It's all fit for humans because they refuse to eat the dog equivalent.

Sars' are demanding dogs (Physically/Mentally) If they're not put to work their welfare almost becomes a full time occupation.
The pay is atrocious but the benefits are really amazing! ;)
