So, I see you 'despair' of the HuskyxStaff crosses then? Who the hell gives you the right to be so judgmental.....? supersilious C*NT!

Aww. I couldn't get, but was planning to go. I'm pleased it went well. Spoke to Anita the other day but I never know what to say in such situations. It will be nice for her to have some company over the weekend x

...My friends and the rest of my family that dont live with me said that my parents where crazy and that id get bored on the first day and regret getting her and just leave her to my parents. I have to admit ppl are a lil miffed that i have a husky at my age when a lot of adults dont have one because they cant control them. Im 15 and havent even finished my GCSEs. But i am doing well and so is she. If there is any advice you could give please do.

Hey my name is Amy and i have just got my first puppy that is my own. I wanted a husky for years & did a LOT of research on the breed and read pages about dog training. My husky is called Astro, she is 7 weeks old and is learning fast. I clean up after her, feed her with a regualr schedual (3 times a day) and i get up between 5-6 as this is when she wakes up. She is learning that her name is astro already and she will sit on command without treats. She is starting to learn that she can lick people but not bite them and she is licking a lot more. Also she is learning that she has to go toilet outside. It didn't take me long to convince my parents to get me a husky as they know what i am like, even so, my dad was shocked when he came in and i had to tell him what to do when she miss behaves....

      hi raindog

i have an idea in my head of something i wanna try set up in a year or 2 (maybe longer) but it will require me to learn all the land mushing technics and teach my dogs how to do this correctly. Could you please tell me the best way to go about teaching a dog the commands please??????

I have always loved your website and love all of your dogs - they are so beautiful.
I made this with a couple of pictures of you dogs for practice really, but thought you might want to use it for something. No worries if not :)

Hey Ya, My family and I just got our first Siberian Husky (7 months) last Sunday, since coming to our home he has been messing inside. We had a word with the vet and they said it was down to the stress of a new home and that it would carm down once he settled in. I have to admit it has got much better in the last week but we are still getting the odd piddle in doors. We love our new arrival very much and would very much welcome any tips or advice you may have to make him feel more at home with us. many thanks x

I am looking for someone to talk to about our 6 mth old sib husky. He is ready to start some training now but want to try and join other people so both us and Kai have some fun and a bit of a social life too. Can you tell me if there are any groups of like minded people in the midlands please? We live between Derby and Burton upon Trent. So anywhere within travel distance would include Nottingham, Cannock, Stafford, Walsall, Leicester areas. Any pointers would be gratefully received. Our boy, Kai is not KC registered. Thanks. Andrea

We have been involved in our breed - Siberian Huskies - for 20 years. During that time we have both shown and worked them with some success. We currently have 10 Siberian Huskies and a Shiba Inu (our little guard dog).
In February 2007 we were instrumental in setting up a new Siberian Rescue organisation in order to address the welfare crisis in the breed caused largely by indiscriminate breeding by puppy farmers and backyard breeders and consequent puppy sales to naive and ill-prepared new owners. Since Feb. 2007, The Siberian Husky Welfare Association (UK) has taken in and rehomed 500+ unwanted Siberians.

Dogs, Photography, Sport - esp Rugby (Union and League), Football, Athletics, Rock Climbing and Surfing, Reading and Music.
