Hi, just wanted to say a huge thank you for my gifts in Freddie's SS. Felt like I hadn't thanked you for them on the thread. :o
I absolutely love molten brown products, and the pot will be put to good use.
      Thanks again.
      Nicki. :)

Hi Louise, I'm organising a Secret Santa Rescue for Christmas and CC thought you were a volunteer with Cats P? If so and would like the rescue nominated please can you vista the SS Rescue thread in Cat Chat and let me know if you have a web page and the address of the branch. Kind regards, Clare

Sorry its taken so long to reply. I haven't been on here for a while.

Oh, I love Ravelry! I have so many projects that I've saved now and know that most of them are well out of my league at the moment but I will get there in the end.

I still haven't made any progress on the dog jacket. I really do need to get my act together and just get on with it - especially as the cold weather really is just around the corner!

I really like the sheep, they are both really cute. I think the sheep looks hard but once it is broken down it's just what you already know. I can't remember but is it the back stitch for the sheep. If you want any advice just drop me a message, I'll have a look at the book and see if there's any little hints.
The jumper and blanket sound good! I really want to make a nice blanket but can't find 'the one' I want to make! I have an unfinished bunny too, it's got a lovely pom tail, but I'm not happy with the proportions!
I have too may ideas, to do projects, are you on ravelry? There are far too many designs and groups etc, it's endless!!!

No I haven't got around to another one yet. I've had a few projects to finish and now I feel like I'm in a bit of a crochet funk at the minute and nothing seems to be calling for me to do it! :o
I think I may do the bunny from the book eventually, it is named Emma after all! ;)
What are you working on? x

It's good to know you thought the bunny looked weird before it was put together too.
I think it's the head, it just looks like a turnip!! I wouldn't worry about it though, sometimes things look strange to one person and others make it up no problem.
I think I'll have a break from it for a few days, do something else and come back to it with fresh eyes because I just cannot see a way to put the head on where it looks good for now.
If you do do one that would be lovely to let me know how you get on.
      Thanks again. xx

Hi Louise. I had a little question for you.
Have you done any more toft patterns? I'm currently doing the armadillo (one of the free ones for pre ordering the book) and I'm really not happy with the proportions, the body looks like a strange pear and the head looks like a thin turnip. It just looks a little strange to me! :o x

Thank you for the rep for my giraffe, very sweet of you. x

Oh that's a shame. I'm sure it will click soon. Have you tried using markers all through the round?
Sometimes I think they can look odd in shape until the filling is put in. The mouse tutorial on youtube I did helped lots because it shows it all stitch by stitch.
I think I'm going to have to go, it's quite far up for me but I think I'm going to try for one of the amigurami courses and have the day there, it looks too good to pass up!

Hi Louise. hope you are well.
How's your crochet going? Have you been to the alpaca farm yet? I had a look yesterday and I think I'm going to try to go in the summer some time because it just looks too good not to go! x

Thanks babes. It's hard- I had a very significant bereavement 6months ago. By total coincidence Paddy died of the exact same condition and it brings everything back. I've seen too many bodies and hospitals this last year :( Thank you for your message, I really appreciate it. x
