You mean this one may be able to be cured and saved. Is there a good chance?

traditional shoo-fly AKA molasses pie has beef suet in the crust -
[i can't eat meat or meat-fats... very-bad things ensue, trust me, nasty cramping,
belly gripes, messy BMs, & so on].

Here's every version of 'molasses pie':

U're very welcome - & it was deserved, too. :)

I don't know what country is home for U, but did U know that, in the USA, there's a traditional pickled vegetable-relish called "picklelilli"?
It's often home-canned in quart jars, & it's a sweet-tart relish, very bright & pretty, with corn, diced red & green bell-pepper, & so on. It's an Amish / Pennsylvania Dutch [German] recipe, like shoo-fly pie, funnel cakes, & other German foods.
      Cheers,
      - terry

I have a rehomed hooligan Schnauzer fox terrier cross, whites tree frogs and various tropical fish. This is the smallest number of pets we have ever had in the past we have shared our lives with Hamsters, a rabbit and red clawed crabs plus African dwarf frogs.

Previously I have always had collies both Rough and Border Collies. As a child I shared my life with a poodle and a corgi.

I love horses and have spent time in the past caring for them.
