He does seem to prefer to stay out and I have been emailed RACR about it. I would kind of be happy to let him live like he wants to and feed him when he shows up etc but I know from neighbours he has been inside their houses - 3 so far! Anyhoo....we have fixed the fencing and yesterday was the first full day he spent in the garden - although he tried several different ways to escape. He doesn't seem to realise he lives in 5 * luxury! I'm sure he just needs to adjust to being part of a family. Saw you bought a grinder - how's it going making your own?

lol! My Oh isn't tiny by any means! He was holding Marley out in front of him so the perspective is a wee bit off - as Marley is closer to the camera he looks MAHOOSIVE! Having said that, he is pretty big - he'll be one next month :-) Thomas is a regular Houdini! He found a weak area in the cat fencing, having patrolled it for ages and disappeared for a few days. He then regularly disappeared for a couple of days at a time if ever he escaped - he's very resourceful and determined! I opened the bathroom window at the front of the house and caught him half way out as I forgot the porch roof underneath! He's quick to come home when he's caught something though.....birds, frogs etc.

I wonder whether she will come back and post an update. So many just don't and that is so very annoying!

Hello there paddypaws. The cheque arrived today. Thank you very much! Did you want me to pm you a recipe I use?

You don't speak German do you? I know you use the google translater but that doesn't work for excel files - which this barf calculator is.

Hello Claire, phew I felt a bit silly putting paddypaws on the address but didn't have your name and you weren't online. So I hoped that your workplace isn't too big and that someone would put 2 and 2 together.
Do you make your own food? I will check my recipes tomorrow and let you know but it is about 10 - 15g per 1kg of meat. I mix it with a some water to form a gravy that mine just love to lap up.
The offer for pepsid still stands. My friend's dad lives on it and they don't mind bringing any over when they come in the summer.

Lol - no, I have only gotten as far as getting a domain name. Should really have been working on my business plan this weekend. Spent most the time chopping food for the cats. Freezer is full now.
Makes you wonder though why such a job doesn't exist. So many raw feeders. Are they really relying on the meat cuts and a few bones to give them all the nutrients?

Sorry forgot to let you know yesterday that I popped the fortain in the post. Sent it first class, so you should hopefully have it soon! My advice from personal experience is to start with a little fortain to get them used to it and then gradually up the dosage. One of my cats would lick the powder pure but others just need to acquire the taste.

Right, I have got the fortain here. Just pm me your address and I stick it in the post at the weekend.
I have got someone coming over from the US. Do you want me to ask whether they can bring some along? I had a look too and am drawing a blank. Any idea why it is not available here and what the equivalent would be?

I will let you know when I have got it so that you can pm me your address. We can talk money from there. No worries. I have got some slippery elm powder - an unopened 50g bag, so that will do us. Thanks for the offer though!

Hello! Just wondering, how you bought taurine from myprotein before? Certainly a lot cheaper than pet places - that's for sure. Thanks for flagging up that source. Just one wee question before I order from there - does it say how pure it is? Thank you!

Hey there - sorry I didn't see your reply - you must have posted it to yourself! :D And I agree with your assessment in your post that life was so much easier when one was ignorant about the pitfalls of wet feeding. But then again, life would be so much easier if there was some type of transparency and tight regulation in the pet food industry when it comes to food labelling. Akin to what the Americans do - we are way too lax.

Hi Hobbs....I am prepared to be corrected but thought that animonda was pretty good quality, similar to bozita but my cats seem even to prefer it. I did look at their web site, and will look again...I certainly don't think the meat stinks ( i am presuming you meant that literally and not in the american sense! )

Morning - I saw in another thread that you like Animonda Carny. Hope you don't mind me asking why that is? I know it has a high declared meat content but the actual ingredients are opaque - one has no idea how much of that is actual meat and how much are just by-products. I also thought that that food stank.
