hi, thank you for the 'like', hope you and yours are well. my sis had beautiful yellow lab for years, his name was parsley. an old lady had owned him but had become infirm, so my sis went along and got to know the lady and the dog, named parsley, after 1 month or so, she took parsley home and he was a delight. he had gone through a cruciate synthetic op a couple of years ago now and had been great. then 1 night last year he got up went to the patio doors to get out and collapsed, no sign of illness, 'nout, he was taken by car to vet and on going into vets room, layed down and passed away, we were devastated. he is sorely missed. if you go into my albums you can have a look at him. take care, ttfn.

Hello, thanks for your message, they have given me a figure, infact its less than it should be as their are sponsors wanting to help pay for the dog to come over here, I just wondered if there was any UK costs that may pop up we didn't know about, i'll email them again just worry about being a pest :) thanks for your message though !

Thanks for the invite, hun - happily accepted. :001_smile:

i've reached my [arbitrary] limit of 50, now - i may have to weed my 'friends'
list, as i think some are not active, anymore. :nonod: I haven't seen anything
      from RacheyBobs in ages.

I'm happy they photographed her in situ -
i'll be appalled if they pose her for a "pretty" picture in a fake setting.

I think it helps adopters to know what circs their pet came from, so they
can make a plan for helping them adapt to a home, a leash, & so on.
The more they know of their adoptee's reality, the better they can make
      that adaptive plan. ;)

Haha I will remind him - thanks :-) although saying that his GSP is a total live wire - an utter nutter and I think most dogs would seem calmer compared to him.

My name is Tabitha; I work as a freelance writer and also run a small dog boarding business in North West London.

My first dog was a Rough Collie named Laddie; he was a beautiful, gentle and extremely big dog and was part of our family for 13 years.

I was then away at University for three years, followed by several years working abroad, so having a dog was not an option. Once I returned to the UK however, I was set on adopting a dog from a rescue. It took eight months to find the 'right' dog. His name is Dexter and he is a yellow Lab. I absolutely adore him and he has taught me a lot about dogs!

Reading, writing, cinema, theatre, criminology, and anything to d with dogs!

    I'm owned by:

    DEXTER - yellow Lab

    PEARL - Lab x Husky

Run free at the bridge, my darling Lucky Bear - I loved you from the second I first met you and I miss you so very much xxx
