i got into fostering to offer an extra service to the rescue organisation by giving them support with their nervous and untrained animals using my experience and knowledge to good advantage. this has also given me invaluable experience handling stressed, nervous, untrained, unsocialised animals. it hasnt been an easy task but touch wood all the rehomings have been successful and my furry buddies are now all happy and content in their new homes.
animal photography is often tricky but well worth while and many owners love having portraits done. i would suggest contacting Business Link in your area. they provide free business set up and support and have been invaluable to myself and other new business start ups alike. often they will know about regulations, insurance, licenses etc that you may be unaware of and can put you on the right track to operating legally and successfully.
      good luck...keep me posted.

The poster had another thread ojn last week where she got loads of good advice! my views on this are like so many more the poor dog just got past the fluffy puppy stage so time to move it on!

Assume the thread she started today is still there! or have there been arguements?
    9. DoubleTrouble

Aw thats great. Yeah they do have to learn. I have left mine in the day a few times for an hour or so, my friends puppy ha never been alone and sits on her lap all day, I think she's digging herself a hole TBH!
Hope he stays settled now :)

My husband has been sleeping downstairs with him to settle him in, he's going to do it for one more week then slowly get him used to being by himself.
He still wakes him up at 5.30am but generally sleeps from midnight till then cos he's with hubby.

Hi Jayde..... Congratulations on your gsd puppy.... excellent choice.... there are no better dogs !!! With regards to his sleeping pattern or lack off...... I would persever with leaving him in the crate..... Is it possible to have him in your room with you ??? How old is he/she ? Hw will settle quicker if in the same room as you... but if thats not a possibility then just persevere with leaving him on his own...He may take a few days but will settle down eventually.... Pamx
