      Hi Miss BethM,

I wasn't here for a couple of days, busy with job interwiews, eeeewwww. But I am happy to hear that Tilly is making such a good progress with her recovery. Give her a bit of time, he has had a really traumatising experience and therefor it is totally understandable that she showed a different behaviour. And I am sure the incontinence problem will be solved as well in the future.

I have two cats myself, Oliver and Mietzi, brother and sister, rescue cats. I really love them, they are great company for me and I am glad to have them. At the moment they are sitting on the sofa with me, one left, one right, purring :). I don't know what I would do if somebody did any harm to them, but I would certainly approach the police to find that nasty piece of work and get him sentenced. They shouldn't get away with that.

Anyway, keep us updated about Tilly! I wish you and your cats all the best..

Hi Beth. Glad to hear Tilly's appetite is good, always pleasing to see them enjoying their food! I love Brighton, most of the time, it has a great atmosphere and mix of people. Only drawback is the house prices! Hope you are having a good weekend. xx

I think a familiar bed and her family around her will be the only welcome home she will need, hope it all goes well.
    7. buffie
You must be so disappointed, but I suppose it is best that she stays with the vet until she is ready, fingers crossed she is home tomorrow. Take care x

Hows Tilly tonight.I hope all is still going well.

Yeah! I just caught up with the thread! Fantastic news - I am so so please for you and her. TBH, I completely understand your unease to let them out again. At the best of times it is nerve-wracking (mine go out but I am always thankful and relieved when I hear the cat flap and they are coming in unharmed) but when you have people shooting at them, well then someone else has made the decision for you.

I would do the same. Just be prepared for a little riot once Tilly is back to normal. i anticipate mad dashes to doors and hanging off windows.:D

Oh I bet Tuesday seems an awfully long time away now but I bet that she is well looked after where she is. Here is to hoping that she will be back home with you next week. Don't see why not considering the strides in recovery she is making.

Hope you don't mind me asking but are you going to keep her as an indoor cat from now on? I am not sure what I would do in a situation like yours. Such a difficult decision to make, isn't it?

That's really sweet of you to reply with a personal thanks! I really do hope Tilly continues to improve. I was looking at your album and your cats are lovely.

I so hope she is well soon.I have thank God never been in your situation but I have had a few "scares".All the best, take care.

I am just in so much turmoil. I've convinced myself twice that shes not coming home and then she has. I'd then convinced myself she would be ok, and now I don't think that is right either.
How is your little puss getting on today?
    15. AnnaK
How lovely of you to take the time to thank me when you are going through this tough time. I am thinking of you both every day and sending positive thoughts and healing vibes. Having had major illness and operations in my family I do know that some days there is no progress and some days things seem more bleak but it does sound as if she is steadily improving.
One of your kitties looks very much like our kittens, if I can work out how I will post an album. love x
    16. buffie
Hope she recovers you, are giving her evey chance

Auditor / Crazy Cat Lady as I'm affectionately kno
I'm a 26 year old girl with a passion for animals... cats in particular!
I work in banking as an Auditor/trainee accountant but I also 'work' full time as crazy cat lady as described by friends and colleagues ;)
I've grown up with many cats and as soon as I bought my first house I got two beautiful farm kittens. I now have three furbabies and my Mam and Dad have four. In my opinion, a house is not a home unless a cat is there!

Spending time with my cats, family & friends.
Socialising, reading, pampering myself, having a nice glass of wine after a hard day, living in my PJs when I'm at home, meals out, cosy nights in, takeaways (pizza in particular), shopping for clothes, handbags, shoes (typical girl!)

    Self confessed crazy cat girl

"If we treated everyone we meet with the same affection we bestow upon our favorite cat, they too would purr" - Martin Buxbaum

"Time spent with cats is never wasted" - May Sarton
