I'm having another flare up again. My aunty's systemic lupus has just started on her internal organs, glad mie is still discoid only. Mie s only affecting my skin. Though have had joint pain recently which my aunty said I can get even if it is confined to my skin.

Hows you. I still can't believe how much my gammy eye has improved. At least now we know we are deffo dealing with subacute discoid lupus. Waiting to hear about 2 things, my referral back to manchester eye hospital and my old specialist in eyes there to see if he has any objection with putting me on anti alaria tablets.

Sounds promising! No one wants a gammy eye! Hope the malaria tablets work. Interesting course of action!!

They are vety good at controlling lupus. He is contacting my eye specialist to ask him if it's ok as I already have 2 meters blurred tunnel vision in that left eye.

Really confusing to navigate. It'll just take some getting used to, I suppose, but I haven't visited or posted much since the upgrade because I'm finding it such hard work! How are you? How's your eye?

My eye has improved a lot. They may be putting me on malaria tablets but as my vision isn't good they are speaking to my eye specialist at manchester because one side effect is blurry vision.

I'm back at dermatology on monday mornng. Sister booked me another appointent and this time we are goibg to make them give me open appointments to keep an eye on it. My lupus has decided that actually it won't be controlled easily. Mums a bit dubious about putting cream on as she wants them to see how it's coming back and isn't controlled with the creams.

We are having a hard time controlling it. Question, since when has keep your appointment on 13 april meant discharge me.

My rash is in my left eye now, that's bad so my doctor is getting me an urgent appointment to get it looked at within the next 2 days I should have an appointment.

Hi Ya Yes that was my Samoyed Tzar, Sadly all four in that picture have now passed, Daisy the one at the back died in June last year. Its and old photo now, Daisy was probably only about 16 months or so not long after we rescued her, we lost her at 16 and 2 months. Scary where time goes and how quick it passes by.

Had a letter from the hospital. They don't kniw for sure but they suspect lupus.

They would like me to change the dressing every day til the stitches come out. They think 3 dressings is enough for 9 more days. Nowhere near enough. They inject local anaesthetic and once that is done and kicked in they have to give you 2 cuts. They did it on the bottom of my back.

After the departure of Tarka and Misi and the end of an era, and the sad and early passing of Bruno, I now have the wonderful Simba and Leila. Simba is a Turkish Van and Leila is a rescue cat. I'm totally in love with them and they're totally in love with each other... The latest addition, Lumi the samoyed is loved by Leila, less so by Simba...
New girl Margot joined us in September. A white rescue kitten to complement the rest of the mob.
We all live together n the Apennine mountains in northern Italy
I do translations, make jewellery, read, walk for kilometres on end, snowshoe, and look after the fluffies and my bees.
