I can't be 100% sure... but I have never heard of conjunctivitis being caused by blowing on a face. If you think about it, cuddling your cat or sneezing/coughing in his proximity would arguably cause more bacteria to get into his eyes. And training techniques for wee ferally ones.. well often they have to be a bit "strict" to have any effect. I always think "if it works, do it, if it doesn't, stop" (providing no cruelty is involved). If my husband gets bitten by orphan kittens, he often nips them gently but firmly back in their ear... and you know what... it works (for him!) they stop biting him and start biting me. As far as training techniques goes... it sounds to me one of the less agressive forms. It doesnt hurt, I can imagine it annoys the kitten... so the chances are good that it would be an effective tool. Night night... I am 1 hour ahead of you all and many years older, lol, so bed time pour moi!

no, lol, but if it works... why not! I sometimes wind my older girl up by waiting till she's high on her cat tree then then blowing on her bum... it makes her so pissed off. lol.
I sing to nervous cats (and I can't even hit one right note!) so I am not in a position to find what others do weird, hehe.

you know.. I wish I could phone CPL and get *her* neutered... or better still PTS. The mood I am in right now I could do it myself with my bare hands, lol. (but apart from that I don;t have that many psycotic tendancies... honest guv ;) )
