thank you for my rep..hope you will somehow manage to survive the vicar!! I have a very healthy respect for Judaism and Jews too..else they take it rather badly....but must add with shame p iam rather fond of Jewish jokes and kosher latzkes..

      really?!...
Wow, i wish I could find an elf who'd run away with me!...
Heck, i'd settle for a sprite or a leprechaun, or even a household brownie.
:nonod: No magickal beings round these parts, i'm afraid. Phooey.

Thanks for your kind comments about Austin, I loved him from the moment her arrived, and I'm really glad for the time we had - even though it was much shorter than we expected. I do have other dogs... but he was just different somehow :)

Thank you. When I saw the pictures of these kittens, I thought they would look so nice sitting in an old-fashioned window sill, so I copied a photo from the net.

It is hard to imagine the terrible grief to loose 4 sons in 48 hours at any time, but for some reason, the fact they found out at Christmas makes it seem even worse. :(
I was researching my family tree and was pleased to find their records, 3 were privates, one was a captain, they all died doing their duty and they were all in the same regiment, sadly the graves are in France and Germany so I'm unlikely to ever be able to pay my respects to them.

      yup -
if brevity is such a glowing virtue, they aren't shining role-models.

I think my post of suggestions is one of 2 or maybe 3? - IIRC - on the entire
      thread.

Why aren't cat-breeders shouted down as cruel monsters, when they desex
kittens before the buyers take them home?...

Thanks for that lostbear, every one has their own opinions but we don't usually verbally abuse someone for them having their own way of doing things. Thanks for the message x

I share my home with my husband, daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. One of them is a kleptomaniac. The other is a murderer. (er - that's the cats I'm talking about - not the OH or The Girl)

I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist but am now retired. I am also a church Reader.
