;) I am British by marriage...and what I think about some things said about foreigners you can see in my sig)..Ilived in UK while on scholarships and now I am in Gibraltar...for good (or average ;))..but I absolutely agree that if you decide to live in given place then you are to respect their tradition and culture .. my kids belong to this place where they are born...and I do not want them to have split loyalties ...they are llanitos ;)...and every country should not put anyone above their own?...

;) I was mostly joking...but yes...I do not like militant atheists (oh, what do they know!!! and they dare to assume they do!)...well fewer kids who no one wants to take good care of!..that is true...and faith is a good toll in trying to tell kids about right and wrong, from my experience at least...;)...and there is a peace and comfort in a prayer or meditation too...hope you are all well ...

I had a great time, folks. there were tons of rabbits and birds of all types - it was fab. I hope you are all fit and well too, and that your furbabies are flourishing.

Had a nasty experience today, though. I'd bought a dozen enormous free range eggs at our local fruit and veg place - cracked the first one - full of BLOOD! Cracked the second on - a two-inch embryo chicken! (At least they were definitely free-range. Haha) Took 'em back and they returned my money. I've found a developing chick in a free range egg before, but this'un was a good size. Off-putting to say the least.

Thank you too, Silver Jill. Being a miseryguts I actually prefer cooler weather, but I don't begrudge the rest of you this glorious sunshine! I am, however, please that the wind and rain seem to have ceased. We're off to the west coast of Scotland tomorrow to have a bit of a break, so I will catch up with everyone when I get back.

      Be good, now!

I share my home with my husband, daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. One of them is a kleptomaniac. The other is a murderer. (er - that's the cats I'm talking about - not the OH or The Girl)

I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist but am now retired. I am also a church Reader.

ANIMALS! Nature, theology, history, reading, walking, talking.
