Slave to the Hairy Hikers, Female, from Jiskefet House

    1. Lunabuma
I still lurk a lot around PF and noticed you hadn't been around for a while. I hope you are ok? If you are , could you do a Hairy Hikers update? :)
    2. MissBettyPage
voted for your pic. it said Bedankt after i pressed stem does that mean it registered? good luck.

I do like Artist bears. I have a lot of Steiff, but I collect only the horses & the small bears. Daughter & I sell at teddy bear fairs & other fairs. We do have a lot in stock, all types/ makes, to sell also, we keep some for a while. At present I have two large old bears, a Schucco & an SAF bear. The latter sits on a chair in our living room.

Didn't know you live in the Netherlands, thought you lived in Britain. Not practical to send them to Vectis then. Though there must be a similar auction house in your country as well?
    5. Valanita
We buy & sell teddy's & other plush animals. The best auction house for selling those is Vectis in Thornaby Yorkshire, they have a web site & a page on Facebook. They know the value of Steiff & other makes & are very good.

      Love the new sig!

Who could blame them guarding it with their lives ? Its absolutely beautiful.

I did however mean to make the point that your signature is stunning as a result of the combination of the bench and your lovely cats so wonderfully arranged as if sitting on it
    9. Forester
Wow, the amount of work which has gone into that makes it ( the park bench not the Gaudi ones lol ) even more beautiful. Its probably as well that its in the Netherlands, it would get vandalised by yobbos here.
    10. Forester
I felt compelled to comment on your signature. I saw your original post about the bench and thought it beautiful but with your cats adorning it, its "out of this world".If only it was in the UK, I'd be trying to find out who painted it, and commission one for my garden.

P F is a better place because of you. You always manage to have the right words for each situation. Those words are in my mind but I can never find them when I need them.
    12. Treaclesmum
Well said JK :D The post was something which should;ve been made a long time ago, the way some people carry on as if only their opinions matter, and the way they snipe back at you for speaking out........ those people have zero respect from me, whereas you will always have that! :) x

Obviously an emotive subject, and I understand (encourage!) people to have an opinion - but I agree, there is a time and a place. I deal with this sort of thing every day in my job, unfortunately it's not always fair or appropriate to tell someone exactly what you think. Maybe I'm selling out on my morals, I don't know.
    14. Forester
I couldn't agree more. There is a time and place for everything and this is the time to support the OP. To kick someone when they are down is tantamount to bullying and NOT what PF is about.

Thank you for the time you have taken to help me on the post last night. I very much appreciate it. :)

I've put some pics in my album, I was thinking of the words: Dexter-Meowgi 'i've got a white purr coat and I'm feline good'
      What do you think lol!

I've seen your fab PF signatures, can you help me with one please?
I am a complete novice at computer stuff, I couldn't work out how to do the Pita Pata one either (red face) if you could help me set one up that would be fab :-)
      Thank you T

Thanks so much for the green Rep along with your kind words that you sent me a few weeks ago. There seems to be a lot of sadness on the forum just lately. Now Poor Sally loosing Ares this morning. So tragic after all he had gone through.
    19. Jonescat
Thanks for the rep. I hope that things are a little better by now. I saw that Tosca was in the garden, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the winter brings her in again for you.
    20. KCTT
Thank you for the rep today. I think I am officially a mad cat lady now as I didn't even give what I did a second thought until everyone's lovely comments x

Crazy cat woman, born and raised to love cats. I am as bad as my mum, stopping in the street to talk to any passing cats. I 'got my first cat' in 1958, when I was a toddler, and the only years I have been without cats were when I lived in an apartment, working all day. Hubby eventually moved in with me, but he never wanted a cat that couldn't go out. But the moment we moved to a house with a garden, we adopted two rescue cats, and the feline family has only expanded from then on.
I am pretty much like Remi, alone in the world. Parents and parents-in-law all deceased, no siblings or children, just hubby, me and the cats. My cats are my world, my life.

I love photography, scrapbooking, writing stories, especially about my cats. I am a language freak (English is not my mother tongue) and addicted to PF. I am not into computer games, but I do play Ingress. I am a Trekkie, a Whovian and totally strictlyfied.
I am addicted to dark chocolate and vegemite (not together, though it might well be an interesting combination).
