Not being cheeky glad to help anytime. Any sign of discharge or anything if you gently squeeze them to see if they produce anything? If there is discharge specially if greenish or yellow and a smell could indicate infection. Have you felt them and below to see if there is any lumps or bumps or hardness? If they are hotter then the surrounding area again that can indicate and infection. Im pretty certain the back teats are the best milk producers too.
Must admit Ive never had the problems after a season and neither them being really enlarged. if its excessive might not be a bad idea to get the vet to have a quick look to put your mind at rest.

Thanks for that, really useful. Charlie has just become a but grumpy with some dogs whilst we are out, hence my concern. It's usually if another dog bounds at him, he will ignore it once but they don't get another chance as he will 'have a go' then. Most owners are accepting and just say their dog has to learn but I get frightened which, I know, may not help the situation as Charlie might pick up on my anxiety. I'm working on that at the moment. We would only contemplate another one from the breeder we got Charlie from, hence it would be a 'real' brother. Would never ave believed you could get broody about dogs!!!

2 years ago, here was ridiculous, no movement of traffic and it was thick ice rather than snow, don't know how many times i fell, didn't hurt myslf thankfully, it's when you laugh it makes it harder to get back up, lol. yep pf is very international indeed. ive just finished a conversation with someone in Canada, it's brilliant. if you do get snow take care and i hope it doesn't freeze, ttfn

hi, we go for a few runs in the good weather as i'm not a hardy biker, lol. I haven't posted a pic of oh's recent bike yet, though. we have no family and have went from a 3 pet fam to a 1 pet family in around year so sad. we still have our max the lurcher and he's brilliant i must say. hope you are ok with this bout of snow some places are getting!!!!! it's freezing here but the snow we have had hasn't amounted to much at all. we are lucky so far. take care ttfn

    Hello there!

I am married with a young daughter and two Springer spaniels - Jasmine & Coco.

I've always lived with dogs and before we had Jasmine, I had a lovely Border Collie called Kahli who was 18 before she was taken for long walkies in the sky - a fantastically loyal and loving companion - really miss you Kahli xx

I have been brought up with dogs since a baby and will always have dogs until I am unable to!

On here to meet loads of new people and learn lots! To have a laugh as well!

    Thank you for reading!

    Meeting people and making friends.
Dog walking either by myself or with friends with or without dogs. Reading. Cinema.
I like quite a wide range of music except rap, blues and Jazz.
Blondie, Fleetwood Mac and Abba are a few of my favourite groups. Having said that, my daughter is introducing me to 'newer' music as she thinks I'm stuck in the 80s' and 90s' era!
