I bathed Cash only once for his show back in July....and now the little git won't get in the bath! and I can't make him as he's to heavy lol

Yeah, I leave Cash in his head collar and normal lead right until we're about to go in :)

Yesterday's show we arrived by 9.30 and was home by around 12.30ish and that included an hour's journey each way. So we spent very little time at the show itself. Don't worry about him not standing correctly, I'm sure you'll both do really well :)

Yeah, those are quite small classes. What you can do also, is find your ring and take note of which class is on and then go off to walk around the venue/outside etc and exercise Bigby. You don't have to stand around waiting the entire time. I wear anything really. Jeans/fleece top/leggings/boots. You'll find that most are quite casually dressed.

I've missed two shows because of arriving late, so I tend to think better to be to early than to late.

Usually I get there when the show opens so I can exercise him and because the time g is so hard to judge. For example if the breeds before you have small numbers then they will move really fast. If he's 4th on, I'd say maybe arrive around half 10, but like I said its hard to know for sure. You could always leave him in the car which some people do and then bring him in when it's his turn.

Chloe in a wheelchair is only the half of it! ;) hehe.
Oh yeah beef scalp I've been meaning to try with my lot. Can you get little pieces too, like Missy sized? Thanks for the good luck wishes for tomorrow. I need it! I'm feeling a bit nervous again.

Hi :) My day was great thanks. Got very wet at sociability lol, but Cash did well. Then I was out all afternoon and our show tomorrow. Lucky Io & Bigby getting those yummy treats!I got some lamb shoulders for Cash last week but he's not keen to be honest. Much prefers Missy & Ty's jerky! Glad the collar and lead is good for ringcraft.

That's a nice number and should go really quickly. I'm sorry my lead set I sent you wasn't suitable for Bigby but glad you got a suitable one from your breeder and a snazzy ring clip too! :) One of the Hov ladies gave me a rusted ring clip which is SO hard to blimmin' open. No nice ones for me! lol

That's annoying when you have so long in between classes. I don't think I've ever been in different rings? I only ever enter the one class so haven't had to wait/swap etc. I can see why you'd maybe only do the one though if that's the case.

Thanks. Not sure when I'll be having them removed, but ideally this side of the year. I know! lol, we just have to much to say :D

Oh no! Sorry to hear that :( strange the things that triggers these outbursts isn't it? Cash had a growl and a small bark at a couple of dogs at the vets this morning. One was walking out back between rooms, nowhere near us. The other entered through the door, straight into our path and into Cash's face!

That sounds good if it has more space :) Bless Bigby haha.

I know what you mean. For ages not being able to run worked in our favour lol but as we got better we needed more ground to cover too. Although whoever is running the class will usually split the class up to run in smaller groups. No worries about the walk, early December is fine :)

No worries, I'm in a similar situation unfortunately :(
Yeah the ringcraft hall is quite small. When it's super busy you're more or less on top of each other!

I'm not sure why they get them. But they've been there months now and I was hoping they'd go on their own accord :( Talking of expensive - vet consults are so pricy since I last had one with Missy & Ty! :o Good luck with your loose leash walking workshop. Sounds interesting and very popular I should imagine lol.

I can't quite remember how much a 1:1 was with Sian, but it can be pricy. The sociability classes are £35 if I remember rightly but I haven't been in months. Some of her classes do sound really good, but like you said its finding the money up front. Good luck at ringcraft tomorrow :)

Yeah, his cysts are pretty big. One is between his shoulder blades which I thought we'd got rid of, and the other is on his side. Both are very noticeable now. Am going to take him to the vets with the view to having them removed hopefully.
