See it was in the back of my mind all the time :) When my dads lab retriever passed away he kept the lead and I remembered asking him about it :) Funny the things that come to mind after all these years !!!

Yep fluff fluff! thats the one! they are far kinder then a choke chain, you can get them on and off quickly and in my view you have more control!

They're really sweet. If I ever win the lottery I would lve to have a small holding with a real mixture of pooches and a donkey, lol.

I've just been looking at your albums - your little dogs are really winning me over - they are so cute. xx

OMG I bet it is 4 is hard enough. :D
Are they all pugs? or did I see some other breeds in your pics?

That is the downside of giant dogs - never any room on the sofa for you, lol, unless you manage to get there before the dog.

Just saw your pics of the pugs and wanted to say how cute they are. Small dogs are a bit of a novelty to me, I have setters and an Irish Wolfhound, they still try to sit on my knee but it's not quite the same, lol.

Just a quick note to apologise if I was rude on 'improve the breed' thread - I didn't intend to be - I am just sick to death generally of some people viewing the whole show-world as being singly responsible for all the bad things in the dog world (or that's how it feels sometimes) - when in the main, nothing could be further from the truth.

Don't know if there is a confusion re slip leas - another name is a gundog lead, and it would be impossible to slip off. Are you thinking of the figure of eight type head collar jobbo??? Do not personally like any of the head collar type, that includes, halti, gentle leader, canny collar - the best of the bunch in my view is the K9 bridle. Anyway, no worrys !
      regards

Yep! not a fan of the choke chain either ! don;t use em myself as weimys o like a bit of head, But I much prefer a slip lead worn high (like you would a show lead)

Just been reading the dog behaviourist threa, personally I am not a fan of behaviorists!! just out of curiosity yo usay you brother tried the halti!! another evise I an not a fan of either!! just curioius!! but what are your views on the straight forward slip lead? rope gundog type! personally I think they offer more control and are often overlooked!

Hi my name is LIZ :) My favourite saying is," the more people I meet. The more I love my dogs :) I have 7 dogs,1 pup,a cat, budgie and hamster. Oh and 2 kids lol :) I love my mutts/mongrels as they have less health problems than my pug. I still love her and try to make her life more comfortable but she should never have been put onto this earth to suffer so much :(

Walking the dogs and generally looking after all my animals. Enjoying life in general :)
