Hi Felicity, congrats on the pups. Its nothing to do with dominance-that as a concept is flawed and not a breed thing, an individual thing nor even a dog thing ;) But socialisation is important for ALL dogs and especially from anything with a bully history - they will be big and need to get off to the right start! Here is a link to a blog post that I wrote on socialisation for breeders - you are the most important part of the puppies' lives as you start off their vital socialisation and you have them for at least two thirds of their critical socialisation period so no pressure lol.

Hi my name is Felicity. I love all animals and share my home with 2 male Rotti brothers who I adore. I also have 2 Dogue de Bordeauxs 1 girl 1 boy. 4 cats, 1 who is a bully and 1 who thinks he's a dog. Currently with have 11 hens, but plan on adding to the girls.
My husband has to put his foot down occasionally because I am a softy and would rehome anything. I am always happy to answer any questions.
