I can see where it would be great for someone in your position--I hear the speech to text features are wonderful. And that would really speed up the "typing" since it's conversational. They're great for educational things too, and the smaller size works well for children's hands. I just find it harder to deal with a virtual keyboard because I can't do the proper typing positioning, so it really slows me down. And I do hate when it's used as an excuse for the postings that are so garbled, it's really hard to ferret out the meaning of what someone is trying to say.

I have to say that I find you rather inspiring. My mother and her sister both have MS and are to varying degrees disabled and don't want to find ways around their disabilities to live full lives. They just say "I can't" and that's the end of it. It's really frustrating for me, as I feel like they're giving up. I wish they could meet someone like you, or our blind member and be more positive. Attitude means so much.

Hey Sweetie! Sorry to hear about your hands :( is it really bad? Glad the cake survived ;)
Oooh Lobster! I've never had it as always thought it was something that was too expensive to try and not like it. Very nice of your Mummy and I bet Moriarty and Tabitha were ecstatic!!

I'm sure Moriarty will come back to bed soon and not stick him bum in your face. Just will take some time ;) Jaffe is going through the terrible two stage at the moment so he started out being a complete mental and destroying everything and crying like he's neglected and unloved and today he is being really unusually clingy. Go figure

I haven't been on much recently as been feeling pretty poorly myself. Hopefully we won't keep missing each other. Xxxxx

Aww bless you! I'm really glad you're on the mend. I'm ok had really bad pain yesterday, a rubbish appointment at the doctors, Jaffe being a terror and found out the OH half has to go away with work again next week so was not in the best of moods but feeling bit better today despite being sleep deprived :) Thanks for Jaffe's half birthday wishes! He was spoiled rotten. I just can't believe how huge he is for a kitten LOL. XXX

Retired due to a malfunctioning body
I am single with only furry children. I have Moriarty and Tabitha who I love dearly. They are my main company most of the time and I wouldn't be without them.

I used to work in call centers until I took early ill health retirement in 2010. I am disabled I have Ehlers Danlos type 3. Which means I don't get out much.

I do a lot of internet shopping and regularly visit Oldham cats where I adopted my 2 babies from.

I like playing my Nintendo wii and 3ds. Yes I am a game head!

I also like cross stitching when my hands are working. I also like reading and watching scifi on tv.

I like Startrek, Stargate, Caprica, Eureka and Battlestar Gallactica to name a few!

I am also learning about cake decorating from books and TV. My Nephew is a Ceoliac so I make his Birthday cakes for him which isn't easy with hands like mine! My mum helps though :)

Due to disability I have to dictate my posts on an iPad. Occasionally posts may not make sense or spelling and punctuality may not be correct. Please bear with me
