It's exciting and scary all at the same time. I feel nervous about Saturday.
I really wish I could come with you, can Marianna not go with you? I'm sure you'll be fine, I found people really friendly :)

Hi Ellen, he's doing good thanks, no poo since yesterday morning  so have introduced some carny kitten mixed with the fish so fingers crossed. We've got Bracknell this Saturday but was waiting to see how he is before I decided to take him. Then Newbury 26 oct that's a TICA show. Exciting :D I'd love to come with you but I'm doing my race for life that evening. Did you find out about the assessment classes? Xxx

      Hi Ellen,
Thanks for the advice and well wishes :) it could be the broth that's still making his tummy upset then, I will do a mix with a tiny bit of his own food and sprinkle some fortiflora on too. He's fine in himself still running around like a loony :)
How's you and A, B and C ? Have you looked at any shows before December for Chester? XxxX

I really didn't think it would be that big, even though I got the tape measure out too.
I wouldn't know where to put a second one either. Xxx

Glenna registered Roman straight to me so we could get him into his first one. Roman is registered with TICA as well as GCCF so I can take him to both shows. You can register Chester with tica so you can do both, I'll have a look how you do it, Romans dad was tica that's why he's both. There's a tica one in Swanley kent in November and you can always take him to the supreme. I'll look up some info and let you know. Xxx

I only have a few pics didn't take that many, bad mummy :D
Need to upload to photobucket and I'll pop a thread up.
We're doing Bracknell again on 5th Oct it's the maine coon breed society and long and semi long hair cat clubs and maybe one at end of oct at Newbury. They're not too far from me, about 30-45 min drive. Xxx

Hi Ellen, will be great if you do show Chester :) I did bath him, been giving him a bath once a week since he's been with us to get him used to it, he don't mind it too much but it might need 2 of you to do it, I tried on my own a couple of weeks ago and he only got his back end washed so my OH helps me. If Chester doesn't like it you can get dry shampoo. With MC's they get greasy fur in places and Roman does, a bit of talc helps too. You will need white litter tray, got mine from amazon for about £2. A white plastic food bowl and a hanging water bowl, I got the food bowl when I went to show with Glenna before and got the water bowl from eBay I'll find the link and send it to you. And a plain white blanket, I got some fleece material from eBay and a girl at work hemmed it on her sewing machine for me, I'm useless with needle and thread. Is Chester Registered GCCF and TICA? Xxx

Hi, I just came on to post actually. It's a lot better and thank you so much for your advice. Willow still not keen on Brian and he keeps getting a whack now and again but she's more back to herself, I just daren't let her out incase she doesn't come back!! Hunter and Brian are friends and have been seen cuddling up!! So he's staying, she might keep improving which I hope she does. Thanks so much again, I really did feel like giving up at one point, it's much more bearable now. xx

the Zoom Groom is great for removing the thicker hairs from the top coat....but I think you need to combine it with a fine comb to get rid of the finer undercoat. The Furminator is good....but extreme.... for stripping undercoat on the shorter haired cats but I don't like using it on the fluffs, it is too 'draggy' and anyway I only use it in the Spring.

Hmm, I think they may have changed the chicken recipe now though to take out the tripe (urgh ) but that seems to be the magic ingredient for Murph.
Aww, poor Bentley...send him over to me for some nursing care. hee hee. I do groom my fluffies quite a lot....fine comb and also a Zoom Groom. Some of them quite like the malty hair ball pastes but I cant say I use it regularly.

      Hi Ellen,
I wonder if you can remember which flavour of the Nutriment it was that you had bought? Although it smells worse than I can bear, Murphy does occasionally deign to eat it so I think I am going to have to place a full order (only so he can then refuse it) I donated the cash for your tubs to the SP rescue. Many Thanks, Claire
