Hi ya, I have noticed a difference in these on the hotter days we have had although they are coping not too bad at the moment. Nans was supposed to have her anal glands flushed tomorrow, but its been put back until next Monday now. Ive had so many docs appointments and investigations last week, and got so many more to come its been a nightmare. Plus I hurt my back too and had to go to the osteopath twice. I actually had to cancel a breast screen Friday before last and a colonoscopy last Wednesday as my back was bad too. So have had to re book those.

She is a real sweetie as I told you a lot about her reminds me of my Laska, hit me really hard when I lost her. Nanuqs got to go in in a couple of weeks to have her anal glands flushed out, she has thickened stuff in them that's like clay, hoping it will do the trick and get them working properly again.

Hi ya, not too bad here thanks. Got to take Nanuq in a bit to get her bum checked again after the exploding anal gland, just hoping its completely healed now and emptying properly. Then Ive got to get back and go out again to see an endocrinologist for myself who will hopefully sort me and my thyroid problem out. Skyla I saw has fitted completely in now then, sounds like Blade isn't the only smitten one by all accounts LOL.

Ive found it really helps I just mix it in thoroughly with their food.

So will you adopt and give her a forever and ever home?

I know the onesie. It's a romper suit for adults or the bigger baby.

As long as it was just a one off, I think you should be fine personally, Try to remember to wear the same clothes too when you go for weigh in that you did last time.

If you have been really good and stuck to it the rest of the week, then I should imagine you will likely still be OK.

Happily I'm getting back to my old mean, vindictive, spiteful, judgemental self - Oh! How I've missed me! And bearing in mind that those are my virtues, I should be on form again soon. We're on holiday next week, but after that, I hope to be hitting the keyboard with a vengeance. How is everything with you and yours?

What a lovely photo with the three of them cuddled up on the sofa even Taz too.

It will take her a few weeks to adjust and realise that its her home. Daisy in particular was really naughty and unsettled in the first few weeks.

Its not uusual for even a toilet trained adult rescue to have aa few accidents in the first week, until they are used to the routine and layout of the place. I certainly wouldn't put two dogs in the same crate, however good they are and how well they know each other.
You never know when something could happen and it only needs for one to get upset about something or something happens to hype them up or spook them.

You do forget a lot, there was probably about 2 1/2 years maybe a bit more between Kobi and Nanuq and its amazing what you forget. Although in all fairness Nan was a dream puppy to have compared to him LOL and much easier.

I forgot about Him and Taz and the bun fights about food in the early days.
What I find a good exercise, is teaching them a sit wait individually with treats. Then when they can all do it. Have them altogether sitting, and then give treats in rotation.
So they are all told sit wait, then Blades, the others are told to wait blade gets his and then so on. It can help I do it with mine, so your controlling the treats not them, if you keep the same order for feeding/ treating all the time they know theirs is coming and when too.

Food especially extra special goodies dropped can be a common one. As you have a male/female usually its all noise and bluster and unlike same sexes they don't usually take it any further, just keep a strict watch on food and treats though just in case she is really food guarding its early days yet. They can sometimes be a bit more destructive and
escape artist in the early weeks more too, until they become settled.

I really could do with getting Nanuq a new set, and probably Kobi too, not as though they have had it, but Nanuqs got Kobis cast off, and started when she was younger and smaller with Laskas cast off purple harness so she could do with a matching set of her own. Kobis still OK, but I messed up the measurements a bit, so its never been an entirely perfect fit, so while Im ordering new harnesses they might as well have new leads and collars too.

You cant beat SASS stuff, Daisy still has her SASS stuff and it must be as old as she is nearly and still as good as ever.

They do love their own type and company, in some respects with sibes two is easier then one.
