Thanks for the rep...I must admit its not easy to share my story and pics of Koda but somehow it does help to speak about her too, strange and complicated things emotions aren't they :o ...I'm so sorry to hear about Cloud, don't ever hesitate to PM me if you need, I sometimes feel like I'm being a bit daft and over emotional in front of my family and friends :o so it is nice to know there are people that completely understand, thank you again for your support too, it is much appreciated.

Yes your right it is very addictive. I've been having to limit myself to a few hours or I'd get nothing done. Lol. Cloud and Jay are gorgeous too. Hope you are all keeping warm. x

I've not started properly yet, 1st order will be next Monday :)
I'm excited and nervous at the same time! So you are going for it then? :D I need to figure out what 'extras' to add, there are that many mentioned that they have become more confusing than the food! Ha ha but I'm sure we will both het there in the end ;)

I think just taking the plunge is the way to go, I didn't actually set a day to do it...it just happened by accident really, I had got some stuff in and was really just testing the water/being curious when I gave her the first wing...so when it came to feed time later that day I just thought I might as well give her some more raw, I kept doing that and suddenly realised this morning she hasn't had any kibble for 2 days now! :)

Hi, Thanks for the message and friend request :)
Well, I have started giving her some raw over the last 2 days and she hasn't had any kibble since then....she's had some chicken wings and some scraps of pork that my local friendly butcher bagged up for me, she tucked in straight away and seems to be loving it, I also give her an egg every couple of days which she loves to play with before eating!
We've had no upset tummy at all and her poops seem to be a lot more solid and less stinky!
I didn't get too much in at first because I wasn't sure how she'd take to it but I'm going to go on Monday and buy more in, I haven't tried her with any offal yet though, thought I'd better give it a week or so on chicken and pork first.
I'm still very nervous about it all and feel a bit lost with it but we'll get there I'm sure :o

When she doesn't have the chicken for tea she is eating wainwrights kibble :D
Don't worry about the questions (although I'm far from experienced!) Lol I have so many, and have asked so many it's unreal! But it is a little scary. The raw mince kiva has been having is just the stuff from [email protected], you could try her on some of that first, or do what I did buy some leg quarters from asda and sit and hold them for her to make sure she chews it properly ;) I did that a few times, but kiva took so well to it and chewed it up really well that now I just throw her one, although I don't leave her alone until she has finished :D I was going to try chicken wings but they seemed too small, and they say to not give anything they can swallow whole so that's why I started with legs x

Yeh she usually has the raw prize choice chicken mince for breakfast, and then a couple of times a week she has chicken leg quarters for tea. She absolutely loves it! And she is a natural at chewing it all properly so she's taken to it really well! (and the poo the day after is fab ;)) ha ha x

I have been thinking and reading and writing lists and menus for months! I have talked myself out of it so many times its unreal ha ha but every time I watch her chomping on a chicken leg quarter I know it's what I want to :) I have got my order wrote out and ready to go and I think it will just take one person to say Yeh that looks fine and I'll go for it. I'm hoping to keep a little diary with lots of pics on here when I start so hopefully that will help any other newbie raw feeders that are a bit scared :D x
