just a quick question (probably a stupid one) I had two cat from the RSPCA from there wildlife/cattery center but it was about 2007. i still have one of the cats (unfortunately had to have one of them pts due to a growth in his ear) would i need another home check?. just thought if i didnt then would be less time one of your puppies would have to be at your centre. many thanks.

Awh bless him - cats can be merciless. My Alf is scared of next doors cat (quite funny in some ways). I have cats but all get on well in my house. Yeah he recovered from his chocolate feast thankfully, certainly worried me though! Little beggar :)
Glad Francis is on the mend and back to his old self!

I will do - and thanks, I have spent my lunch break cuddled up with him and he doesn't seem to be showing any ill effects at the minute.
I'm sure the inflammation will go in time, I think that's partly what the antibiotics will be for so maybe you'll notice a big difference once he has finished his course. Poor wee Francis!
    16. kaz_f
Ah well he's clearly missed you! I am sure that even if he's still uncomfortable he's glad to be back home. Bit of TLC now for while I should think. I hope you get on ok and he soon gets better. :) I am monitoring Alffi today, he has accidentally had half a large bar of fruit and nut. I phoned the vet straight away and they said monitor him closely and if he shows any ill effects bring him straight in. So far so good, it was about an hour ago that he had it.

Oh bless her that must be so sore! Ruoert just gets a bit itchy and his ear otitis mostly in summer. Waiting to see how bad it will be this year as we've moved house and it is a fair bit less rural! Hope Sasha has a pain free season :)

Hiya, just being nosey tell me to bugger off if you like! Saw you said one of your labradors is on steroids for allergies and I wondered if you know what he/she is allergic to or have an indication at all? Feel free not to answer, just being nosey as Rupert has his ear probs etc. He's not had a flair up yet which I'm quite surprised about but it could be any day lol! Hope you're having a good week :) x

Have horses aged 35 and 18, 2 black Labs aged 13 and 12, 1 Lab X allegedly 17, 1 cat and 3 Guinea Pigs. I am 50 and divorced (no suprise there being as the ex wasnt animal mad!). Am now bored of my own company so thought I would join and meet people who love their animals as much as I do. Some people just don't understand the relationship - particularly between dogs and humans - never judging, always pleased to see you etc.....

My animals (obviously) - do voluntary work for Oldies Club Labrador Rescue South East and Central. Would love to be able to mend my own car! lol

    My family :
    Sox 35 year old pony
    Zara 18 year old horse

Dora 13 year old black Lab
Sasha 12 year old black Lab
Francis (allegedly) 17 years Rescue Dog

Saffron 5 yr old tortoiseshell cat
Ginger and Snap, and Pinky the Guinea Pigs
