Thanks for the rep! Yes, I'm on the verge of doing exactly that too!! x
    5. Goblin
Thanks for the rep. Sure someone else would have thought of it :) I do know when looking at a problem it's far too easy to miss the obvious as we look at the small details.

      Thanks :-)

Thanking you most kindly for the 'Rep' and the nice comment which most would argue.
Particularly my Psychiatrist, my Parole Officer, the nice man who administers my weekly EST and their respective Psychiatrists. ;)

No problem. Monty is a rescue as well, again we have no medical details etc. He is a lovely dog and we adore him.

As you can see from Suki being clipped off =[ sadly she got too matted. I tend to keep them long and fluffy.. Their hair seems to take forever to grow lol. I'm hoping to maybe try breed standard on Bailey tomorrow.. Will let you know if I get brave enough :p..

I thought a class would be good for Callie, not yet as she is still too reactive to other dogs (this started in her teenage years and is another thing we have been avoiding rather than sorting out!) I think an agility one would suit but she gets excited just running with me.
My neighbour locked herself out of her house today so that was today's visitor sorted as she waited with us until her spare keys arrived. The dog ran all over the house when the bell rang. It seems within 3 days she has come to associate the doorbell with having her muzzle put on. Luckily she is so nosy she couldn't stay upstairs long and was soon back to see what was going on.

How is Beau about being clipped. Mine quakes and shakes (OK so I did nick her ear a few months ago but that is her fault as she won't keep still) and yes occassionally my cuts give her an unusual look, she often ends up with quite a suprised look on her face, but it soon grows out.

Oooooh, I do hope your socialisation is going well! It might also be worth having her be around people that do not interact with her so she can learn to feel comfortable with strangers being in her surroundings without having to actually react?

Have you tried any classes yet, I am looking for one at the moment but want it to be a bit of training with some fun rather than serious competitiveness etc. I hope Beau would enjoy it ;O)

Hee hee - I don't think he has been worrying too much lately - living a life of luxury more like it I think ;O)

Beddies are mainly in Liver or Blue and Beau is quite a pale blue one but he does have darker ears and round his eyes. He also has a pale stripe down his back which is why one of his nicknames is Beau-a-saurus ;O) I think Kerries are the same with colour lightening with age?

I guess they have similar ancestors in their breeding? brilliant dogs though aren't they, just the right size and non shedding :O)

My new resolution is to expose her to places with lots of people at least once a day, just for 5 - 10 minutes and have vistors (strangers) in the house at least once a day. I have managed 2 days so far and feel quite pleased with myself.

I didn't realise Beddies came in grey, or do you think he has been worrying a lot. Mine obviously doesn't worry enough as she is still quite black.

Hi there from another Beddie owner.. Nice to see there are more of us =] Beau is soooo gorgeous... What a stunning.. Thank you for your message =] Bexi, Bailey & Suki x woof woof x

I loved the bit I read about Bedlingtons - They look so lovely that owners struggle to tell them off.

I need to get people to come in the house all the time to try and desensitise my dog. I even invited the window cleaner in recently.
