Yes any rabbit meat would do, but the beauty of that dealer is that it is wild not farmed, comes already minced and is very cheap! Natural Instinct do a rabbit flavour, if they have it in stock that is, or Woldsway is another company that specialises in rabbit although more expensive again. Still, whatever the expense of food it has to be cheaper than the vet, right? Guideline is 2-3% of body weight per day, so 150g for a 5kg cat. I think 5kg is the minimum order so I guess that would be the starting point to see if your cats will eat it. If they will, and even if this present issue is bacterial and not food related, it is a great diet for your cats and I think you will see the improvement in coat/condition.

Hi Annie, Do you drive? If so then you are close enough to Necci Game in Staplehurst Kent who sell raw minced rabbit for cat food. Rabbit would probably be a 'novel' protein for the kitten, which means it could help if food allergy is the problem. Raw food is actually very easy on the digestion. Otherwise Natural Instinct is a good food, I think 5kg is the minimum order from them.
