That does sound very busy, Hopefully things will be much smoother from now on. Bubba still pulls but only when he gets to excited and wants to meet someone. He got attacked a few months ago by an off lead dog fortunately it was my boyfriend walking him at the time and managed to scoop him up before he suffered any damage. How old is Alfie now?

just back in from walkies. we had a great walk, thanks, they even got 'off lead' as knowone else was about. it rained quite heavily so didn't get pics of them both running around like a pair of maddies, ha ha. i'm glad you knew who popeye was, lol, as after id'e written it i thought jings maybe they won't know who popeye is. i can understand what you mean by not aking him out in hot weather as he'll hardly manage to get a breath, eh. well i didn't know much about birds either really untill i got dax my 'teil. i was going to get an iguana untill i saw dax in the pet shop and decided i would prefer him and he came to me straight away, great eh. i hope he lives as long as the 22yr old 1. my dog max is a blue lurcher, again thanks on the lovely comments. ttfn

aww thank you alfie is certainly a character thats for sure ha ha, i like the white faced teils to there pretty :)im still amazed at how old they get to,i dont know much about birds tbh. have fun on your walk unfortunatly alfie has to stay in today as the last time he went to the vets they recommended that he didnt go out for a walk in hot weather :( so its play time on the bk yard later when it cools a little :) speak you later

hi, nice to hear from you again and thanks for lovely comments on my pets, our 'teil is now 17yrs old. i knew 1 that lived 'till 22yrs old. then again some can just last a year it's just your luck i think. breeders and people that show their 'teils don't really like the white faced one's as theyr'e regarded as boring!!!!! i just love mine he's so cute and has a really great nature, hardly makes a sound as is really quite funny. quite affectionate too i must say. i just loves your picss i'm just about to take max out for his walkies so will look later, ok. alfie is so cute, i love the avatar pic. ttfn

he he that did make me laugh. you'll get there, or as you said, you'll end up with some serious biceps if not. i imagined popeye the sailor man walkin your dog. when are you gonna post some pics. take a look at my albums etc... to see my dog and 'pal', your more than welcome. ttfn

hi and welcome. i do hope you get the 'pulling' sorted out. it just takes time and remember to have fun whilst training your dog, it also makes it enjoyable for you to. you will get alot of good advice on here and a multitude of different opinions as to what's the best way to train your dog. take it all in and then choose which is the best way for you. i never did clicker training, or giving treats just patience and my dog preferred to be given a toy if he did good with his training. i started with a halti first then went onto stopping, stopping and turning back slightly then walk forward again, if 'pulled' again stopped etc..... i do hope you get the 'pulling' sorted out. it just takes time. ttfn
