Lol - no he's my Malamute, the one in the avatar and he's in my signature at the bottom of my posts - in fact it's hard to find a post of mine were he's not mentioned, lol. Could say he's a partner though as he's the closest i've got to one.

Will look out for your new book and let you know what I think once i've read it. Amazon is where I always get my books from, so will order from there - all in a good cause. Thanks for the info.

oow yes, CS the wonder treatment I call it, has worked wonders for my girls elbow and great for our own health too. I'd heard of it but never actually tried it, wish I had I could have saved a fortune in vet treatment for her - all of which has side effects, especially the steroids.
Can imagine it must be lovely writing your book with the sounds of your dogs and cd in the background, very inspiring. Has your book been published yet? as I will look out for it, something to do while i'm nursing Flynn after his hip replacement next week - the eight weeks really drag and I could do with a nice read to help pass the time.

Yes that is a lovely quote isn't it and so very true. You see the wolf side of the Mals when they have a howl off - all standing there with their heads held high, mouths open and howling for all their worth, lol - while I run around trying to keep them quiet, one at a time. Doesn't work though, if I get one to quieten and move to another the first one starts again.
Very primal and so natural - lovely to hear.

We decided to get another dog 2 years ago, I have always loved Old English Sheepdogs but never imagined I would ever own one. To cut a long story short we went to see the litter & as soon as we walked in Willow came straight up to us and made a fuss, we tried to keep an open mind & looked at her siblings who were playing about as well but we were just drawn back to her all the time. We then found out that she had the same birthday as our beloved Zoe who had passed away 5 years ago at the age of 14, I am a strong believer in fate & I knew she was the one.
She is now nearly 2 and in so many ways just like Zoe was - she is so chilled out & calm & has the most beautiful nature ever. I was looking at some old pics of Zoe taken many years ago & I couldn't believe that Zoe used to have a black stripe around her tail, Willow has exactly the same thing in the same place - it is really spooky!!

I hope I haven't bored you too much but you will find that special one I am sure of it.

I was born in Lancashire and now live in the Lake District with my husband and our seven English Setters.

I love spending time with, and exercising and trimming/grooming our seven English Setters, and when I have time (!) walking, reading and of course, writing.
