thanks, hun - Very nice to C U, too. :)
Unfortunately, I still have severely-limited communication.
I cannot post to anyone's profile, nor can I initiate a PM - I can only *reply* to a PM from someone else. // Censorship lives, eh?

Absolutely brilliant from the initial call to Lucy through to the installation by Ian and Ricky.
The Birmans now enjoy safe access to the garden and we can open doors and windows again.
    Thank you so much.

    Georegina was once visually impaired?
    1. Magyarmum
Yes. When she was 4 months old she was almost totally blind due to severe entropion, which took several operations over a period of 6/7 months to gradually remove the loose skin on her forehead.pressing on her eyelids and preventing them from opening. She had on final operation at a year old and her eyesight is now normal!

Aww poor girl. I once walked a visually impaired dog at manchester dogs home who like me had tunnel vision. They called him Mr Wobbly. You can imagine how that walk went.

Hey guesse what I found online. After I was done with that thread. A device for blind or visually impaired that goes in the centre of the handlebars and alerts to obsticles by vibrating, your thumbs go on it so you feel it, enables us to ride bikes independantly. I know what I want for my birthday. It’s called ultrabike.

I wish we still had rep because if we did you’d have had a nice green one. I forgive her, believe it or not I’m often asked how can you not see something, I just say in a lighthearted way that my vision is rubbish. I’m known for regularly colliding with the local overgrown tree.
