if so, congrats to your son, they're stunning! i don't know a huge amount about tort care, these sheets seems to explain housing quite well Red Footed Tortoises - Care of Red Foot Tortoises Red-foot Tortoise Care - Darrell Senneke and Chris Tabaka DVM also, i don't think you are suposed to keep torts in vivariums because of the poor ventilation, if they are inside they are suposed to be housed on tortoise tables.. but i think these guys need humidity so i'm not sure.. sorry |

I have 5 redfoots. you dont get certs with them. You need a big table for the with deep substrait that needs to stay damp.How old is your son as a redfoot is the last thing id ever buy for a child. Thay may not be the hardest tort to care for but thay are not easy and thay do get very big. As adults thay will need a heated outside home and thay will need to be kept warm all yr. My reds have doubled my electric bill
Also my last vets bill was £210. Alison |
