Question Malayan box turtle .... HELP..... !!!!

I have a 2 Malayan box turtle that my friend gave me a few days as he has to rush out of the country and may not be back for a very long time...

Much help will be appreciated for the care of these turtles as i have little knowledge about the care and diet of these as my friend was in such a hurry he has not left much details of caring for them ?? ....

One of them hardly comes out of its shell and the other ones keeps turing its head side to side... ???

I currently house them in a 110 litre vivarium/ tank thing ... lol , it is half water and half terrain/flat rocks, the water is around 26-27 degrees C ish.

I am wondering if this is the right temp ??

Also i need to get a warming light for the basking area and a UVB light but i do not know how many watts i need the lights at ???

can someone help me please

Kind Regards

Gentle Jesus

Re: Malayan box turtle .... HELP..... !!!!

I am very sorry but know nothing about the malayan box turtles but I have found these two web sites regarding their care

Malayan box turtle (Cuora amboinensis) – Darrell Senneke and Chris Tabaka DVM

The Ultimate Malayan Box Turtle WebPage

Also you could ask the same question on here
http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/site/Welcome.html

as their are some very experienced aquatic and semi aquatic keepers on there, they may be able to help you much better
