I need help.....turtles

Hi

I need help getting together the right thngs I need to set my daughter up with baby turtles.

My daughter has been looking into mini turtles for months, As a present for doing so well with her GCSE's (17) I want to surprise her with the equipment needed.

She can than pick her own turtles herself (she knows which ones she wants)

I dont know anything about reptiles, but Amy my daughter does

Are those turtles she wants aquatic turtles?

There will be big difference if they are compared to land turtles.

Re: I need help.....turtles

Hi,
Just wondered whether your daughter has acquired her turtles yet as my daughter is looking to find a loving home for her 2 turtles as her new commitments make it difficult to give them her full attention. Like you I know nothing about turtles so dont know what type however if she would be interested then I will find out. We are fairly local to you as in Southampton. She would not want anything for them just knowing they are going to a good home.
Thanks

Re: I need help.....turtles

Hi Kerry,
Sorry for delay as my daughter has just returned from a long weekend away. Apparently the turtles are a Mississippi and a Yellow Belly and are about 15-16 months old. If you would like any further information then please let me know and if you would be interested then we could arrange how to transfer them.
Kind regards
John (and Ellie)

Hi Chalk007

I'm sorry but i have to turn your lovely offer of the turtles down, I have talked with my daughter and she has now informed me that she will be studying on the main land next year and will not be able to take the turtles with her.

I wanted to buy them as a gift for doing well in her gcse's. She wants a tattoo instead i'm sure you can imagine my reply

I hope you manage to find them a lovely home

take care Kerrt

Hi Kerry,
Thanks for letting me know. Funny thing as our daugther surprised us a couple of years ago with a small lizard tattoo on her back.
Good luck
John
