what do I do????

hi my fiance had two turtles which he loved very much, personly i wanted nothing to do with them as im not a big reptile person. He fed them, cleaned them out basicaly did everything for them.

unfortunatly he tragically died last month aged 25 i am now left with his babies as he called them, i cant bring myself to get rid of them but i dont know what the hell im doing with them. I only just realised there was two of them lol thats how much i had to do with them! He used to get them out and hold them but i dont know how to do that.
I do know the turtles are musk turtles aint got a clue what sex and they are currently about the size of the palm my hand maybe a little smaller. Can any one offer me some help/ advice

Hi hun, i am so very sorry for your loss..

I`m a new turtle owner myself and don`t really know anything about musk turtles other than they release a smell from their glands when frightened ( apparently anyway ).. and their cute, i saw some today at our pet shop and fell in love with them..

Try reading this hun:

Sternotherus oderatus: The Common Musk Turtle

hopefully the link might offer some advice... turtles are great pets and very amusing to watch, i can spend hours just watching mine... i`m sure once you get used to how to care for them you will become very very fon of them.

Once again hun, i am so very sorry for your loss..
