Tortoise shell problems.

Hi everybody.
I am new to this website.
Just wondering if anybody could help me.
I have three tortoises and one of them got out last year and hibernated himself underground. (We actually thought that somebody had pinched him).
When he came back, he had one of his shell pieces missing. He has now lost another two pieces.
Any advice.
Kind regards,
Angie.

Re: Tortoise shell problems.

It may be shellrot, if I were you I would get him checked out by a good tortoise vet. I think if you go to Home Petition Tortoise FAQ Slide show - Tortoise Protection Group they may have a list of good vets, if they don't you could ask on there
