Yellow Bellied Slider Turtles

Hi everyone,
I have 2 lovely yellow bellied slider turtles, that are too big for their tank now, and i need to find out whether they will be ok outside in a pond all year, otherwise they will need a BIG tank indside?

Mine live out all year but the pond is 9ft deep and they have mud at the bottom to go in in the winter, they spend most of the summer basking at the side of the pond and then disappear to the bottom in the winter, but think you would have to put them out soon to get them climatized

Re: Yellow Bellied Slider Turtles

Thanks everso for your reply. That is a really deep pond, we wouldn't be able to go more than about 3 to 4 ft deep so by the sounds of it, it wouldn't be suitable.
