That looks nasty - I think you should see your vet as soon as you can.

Looks like conjunctivitis and you will need a vet to check and prescribe antibiotic eye cream.

Eyes are very delicate, so the sooner the vet visit, the better.

Is it possible that a scratch from another cat could have done this?? We have another kitten and his nose is all scratched so maybe they've been playfighting but I'm not sure if that could have caused this? Thanks for your reply:)

Who knows. Ask your vet when you visit them.

Irrespective of what has caused it , he really should see the vet as soon as possible. Eyes are very precious as well as very delicate.

I hope that you can get him seen quickly and that he will soon be better.

Usually needs antibiotic eye drops to clear this - as said previously. Vet will tell you whether its from a scratch or a virus/infection.

Agree with the others, please try and get to a vet tomorrow. It's probably easily sorted but could turn very nasty if left. Please let us know how you get on x

It could be from a scratch, in which case the vet will use a dye to see how deep the scratch is, if there is one.

There is nothing you can do at home for this, only a vet can prescribe the correct treatment.

It will get worse if you don't see a vet though.
