    Lovely photos especially the Blackcap.
I was watching a few honey bees on the heather this morning. We then drove a bit further south down off the hills to meet up with some friends and I was surprised how much further on everything is. It's several degrees colder up here and spring is only tentively arriving.
Saw some very tiny lambs yesterday, first ones I've seen as the farmers tend to leave it a bit before putting the tup in so that the lambs are later.

A bit more spring from today - first comma of the year, a grey wagtail paddling and some willow blossom. The tree was buzzing - it had so many bees in it :) Saw my first Brimstone of the year too but it wouldn't stay still enough to take a pic. Chiffchaffs singing as well

Went away for the weekend and found this wood that was alive with Commas and Brimstones. Too many to count. Also saw my first Peacock of the year :)

I love all your pics but your aconites are celandines.

If they are in your garden just make sure they don't take over! ;)

I have a couple of small patches which came in on donated plants but I keep them contained just by puddling round them regularly with a fork or trowel and removing any bits so they don't spread.
