Puppies and other dogs

    When do you allow your new litter to meet other dogs in the household, I've heard from two fellow breeders and both have different opinions. Interested to see what your thoughts are?

    Once they are weaned typically.

    Very much up to the individual breeder I expect which is why you may get different opinions. My little pack are quite close and if we do have a litter some will care-give which we have always allowed ....which means other dogs in the vicinity of the puppies from the start and often in the whelping box/play pen from around 3 to 4 weeks of age. They will generally all be fully interacting together (around the house/in the garden) by 4 to 5 weeks of age onwards......
