I've just made murphy some liver cake , but I don't have a blender so I just chopped the liver into small peices , I've turned the oven off as its golden brown and the 'cakey' bit has cooked through , but I'm unsure how to tell if the liver is fully cooked?

Is there any way to do this ?

Stick a knife into it and it it comes out really wet and sticky then it needs to go back for a while, just like an ordinary cake in fact. I like liver cake cos even if you overdo the cooking it can be chopped up and used as training treats when a little too hard. In fact the firmer the better otherwise it crumbles in your pocket!

You can always cut it up after you have taken it out and put it back in the oven this way too for a couple more mins.
