Can cats eat turkey?

    I have just been told not to give my cats turkey on xmas day as it is indigestible for them?
    is this true?

    well, my cats eat turkey mince and have done for a while now and they are still alive. so i'd say yes, but just a little as you don't want to upset their tums if they are not used to it. :D

    Someones pulling your leg :) Obviously don't give them bones, but turkey is fine. Our old moggy Sam loves the dark meat best.

    Oh thats ok then at least they can have a christmas dinner, i got them some special christmas day gravy aswell form P@H

    my cats always have xmas dinner with us turkey and all the trimings they even like veg :thumbup1:

    They must be having you on - all my cats eat turkey mince and roasted - they love it :)

    My lot had butter basted turkey breast for tea last night :D and loved every mouthful.

    well the vet told them we should not feed them turkey, thats why i had to ask here, but if you all feed it then i will too

    I dont see how turkey is much different from chicken - both poultry!
    Plus you get turkey flavour cat meat (ok its not 100% meat but you know what i mean)
