Question Is it ok to move the spiders, and how do I move them?

I have a spider's nest in my kitchen, at the top of the wall where the wall meets the ceiling. I have no idea what kind of spider has laid her eggs there, but they are in all snuggly wrapped up in the thread she's made to keep them safe. Mummy spider has stayed with them the whole time. The thing is, they're beginning to hatch, and as much as I like spiders, A) I don't really want a ton of tiny spiders running around the kitchen and B) there can't be much for the babies to eat in the house, or Mum for that matter.

Is it ok for me to move this spider? Where should I move her and her babies to? and how can I make sure they are safe when I'm moving them, I don't want to inadvertently squish any!!

Thank you
Cathy x

I tried once after the mother had died but the nest web was incredibly sticky so it was too hard to move. It was even hard to move once they had gone!
I didn't want to harm them after mammy spider had spent all that time guarding them so I left them. I didn't notice them in the house at all, so I couldn't tell you what happened to them. Fortunately though, this years nests are in the utility. I do tend to encourage spiders as I really don't like flies.
