Talking Quick question about behaviour

i was watching my spider for a good few hours last night and for most of the time before dusk she was sat in the entrance of her den, then she started moving out, then suddenly she reared up her front legs and started what looked like some kind of bizzare dance!! now, i was a few feet away completely still and there was one cricket in with her, in the morning she had tacken the cricket. is this what they do when they are hunting? or have i got a special break dancing tarantula!!!!!?

Re: Quick question about behaviour

Some of mine do that very strange, but iv'e also noticed with my paraphysa Parvula is when there are two crix he or she will grab one with fangs and the other crick it will feel it, move it then pin down till he/she makes room to grab it.

Only seen this one do it.
