Re: water for spidey?

I was using water that had been filtered through a filter jug but now I use just tap water.

Re: water for spidey?

How big is the spider you are getting? If its under 3" then don't put a water bowl in just mist the side walls of its home every few days as spiders smaller than 3" can get their book lungs wet when they go for water and can drown.

Re: water for spidey?

she is 2cm, arrived 10 minutes ago! she is beautiful, hasn't moved yet though, still sitting on the cotton wool, must be a scary transition for them really, i have put some small gravel in the water dish so it is very shallow but should i take the dish out anyway do you think?
