Advice needed please

My dad just bought a tarantula the other day and it is in a small plastic container. he was wondering if my vivarium for my lizard would be okay for it to live in. it is 2 foot long made from wood with 2 glass sliding doors on the front, he is new to spider keeping and i haven't a clue, any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Perhaps father should have put at least a little thought into how he was going to care for this animal before he acquired it.

I have no positive input for you mate, sorry if my response seems negative.

Im sure Bonnyboy was only putting an opinion across that i know many would share on here. There was no offence meant.

Glad that others share my view, as you say I wasn’t intending to create offence. My wording does seem a little terse in retrospect though.

Sorry about my abrupt wording in my initial reply. As you may gather, I know nothing about such creatures. Was just attempting to say that had I bought one, I reckon I would have read up a little on the topic. It seemed the correct response at the time mate.

Having said that, I bought a Cockatiel on the spur of the moment myself knowing nothing about birds (from someone on another forum who no longer had time for the animal) the little bugger had a feather plucking issue which is now better but still happens on occasion.

Accept my apologies if I responded in the wrong manner, I know you were only seeking advice.
